The problem with “Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer,” (the standard “Progressive Trinity”) is that it’s Modalism. The Persons are not separable by function. Each participates in the work of the others. In the very creed it states that through the Son all things were made. And this is important. It’s important that our friend, our incarnate Lord, is also our Creator, as much as the more distant Father. Jesus is not just a cleanup crew, he was involved in the entire process.
So if one wants to be progressive, I think “Parent, Child and Holy Spirit” is the way to go. If it sounds clunky at first, repetition will endear.
